The module will include a general introduction, basic information and evolution of these matters in a global perspective including current situation of emergency crisis and difficulty and problems faced by practitioners during first response and emergency recovery phases.

Content

The main content areas are:

• Introduction and theory of architecture
• Division of Humanitarian emergencies
• Future impact of physical response in humanitarian emergencies
• New professional roles
• First recovery and response assessments
• International cases

The module will include a general introduction, basic information and evolution of these matters in a global perspective including current situation of emergency crisis and difficulty and problems faced by practitioners during first response and emergency recovery phases.

Learning methods

Several learning methods will be used within the module going from seminars, lectures, open discussions, architectural models, exercises and students group works.
